The International Association of Golf Tour Operators and its 660 members choose the Mijas resort as the best golf resort in the country in the 24th edition of these awards.

The International Association of Golf Tour Operatos (IAGTO), with 660 members, held its International European Golf Convention from the 13th to the 15th of May at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Malaga and presented its awards. One of them went to La Cala Resort, as Spain's Golf Resort of the Year 2024.

The resort was grateful for the award and noted that it comes at a special time for them: "Receiving the prestigious IAGTO Golf Resort of the Year 2024 award is an immense honour for La Cala Resort, especially as we celebrate our 35th anniversary this year", explained La Cala Resort's general manager, Sean Corte-Real.
