The charms of Mijas are no stranger to tourists. And what is better than to create a route with the most beautiful spots in the village. That is the idea that the Tourism Councillor has presented: ‘The Mijas Selfie Route’, under the slogan ‘Smile...photo!’ Thus, Mijas becomes a selfie town. This is a route where all tourists can pick up a small map in the Mijas Pueblo and La Cala tourist’s offices, which includes and points out each of these 15 points. They can take pictures have them as souvenirs. The places are identified with a small yellow plaque to help find them”. The route is the result of a collaboration with the IES Vega de Mijas Tourism module.
A group of five trainees selected the best points that finally are the ones that appear on the route. I highlight the great collaborative work between the institution and the new guide generation who offer a modern and different prospect, very much in line with current trends.
