The Town Hall will distribute more than 600 kilos of free sardines, children's entertainment, and live musical performances

After a two year break, the events and traditions of the municipality are back again. On Sunday 1st May, the Fiestas Department of Mijas Town Hall is organising the traditional "Sardinada" to commemorate Labour Day. "We are, once again, celebrating this event with 600 kilos of sardines to be served on the beach. It will be held on "El Torreón" beach, starting at noon, where we can enjoy this well-established activity," said the Councillor for the Area, Tamara Vera (PSOE).

This is an activity with more than 30 years of history in the municipality and will include "children's activities so that they can also enjoy this traditional day while their parents have fun and live music. In addition, there will be shade, as we will set up a large marquee to enjoy the activity throughout the day," Vera concluded.
