This Saturday, 23rd April, we all have a solidarity appointment. The ‘Mijas with Ukraine’ festival is coming, a charity party in which all the proceeds will go to this town, which is still at war, under the project coordinated by the Red Cross.

The event will take place in Virgen de la Peña Square, from 12 to 6 pm, and will feature performances by the “Academia Fama”, the dance group of the Popular University directed by Remedios Fernández, and the flamenco show of Víctor Rojas. There will also be salsa and flamenco workshops led by Juan Jesús Leiva and Fran Fusión. The event will also feature a show by the Chassé Dance Academy, and an exhibition of typical Ukrainian dances by the NV Dance School. The final touch will be provided by the ‘Motty Show’, which will entertain all the children from 5.30 pm onwards.
