Mijas - The First Tapas Route Sitio de Calahonda begins
A total of ten bars and restaurants participate in the first edition of the ‘Ruta de la Tapa’ in Sitio de Calahonda, an initiative aimed at supporting and making the businesses of this urbanisation known, especially in these difficult times for the industry. Participants will have eight days, from November 14th to 21st, to enjoy in each of these establishments a tapa accompanied by a beer or soft drink for 2.95 euros. Those interested can collect their cards to participate in the businesses that are part of the route. Once the ten stamps have been filled in, the cards must be handed over with their personal information at any of the establishments and, later, opt to win the prize, four cocktails at the Millenium Cocktail Bar pub.
Daniela Wenk, the organizer of the route, explained: “We have a great variety of international cuisine”. Little India, Bay of Bengal, Little Italy, Pollo Loccco, Dos Leones, Slow Boat, 97 Bar, Kizzy Caribbean Kitchen, Roberto’s Grill & Sports Bar, and The Boathouse are the ten restaurants that take part in this initiative.
