The Tourism Department will provide four free buses for the residents to travel to the amusement park.

The Tivoli World amuse-ment park will celebrate this year again the Mijas Special Day. The event, which was presented by the councillor for Tourism, José Carlos Martín (C’s), last Wed-nesday, September 2nd, will be next Saturday, September 12th, from 17:30 hours. The difference with previous years is that, due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19, it will be mandatory to comply with a series of measures such as the use of a mask, hydroalcoholic gels, and, of course, respect the safety measures. “Residents who wish to will be able to access these leisure facilities for free just by proving that they are residents in the municipality, either with the DNI/NIE or with the census document. With this, following the security measures stipulated after COVID-19, the residents of Mijas will be able to enjoy a day of family fun in this park”, assured the councillor. In addition to this advantage at the entrance, those who want to use all the attractions will be able to access the ticket known as ‘supertivolino’ for a price of 13.95 euros. Tivoli opening hours are from 17:30 to 01:30 hours. “This is a way to facilitate leisure activities for our neighbours in moments as complicated as those that we are living”, said Martín. Four buses are going to be provided by the Town Hall. Two will leave from Las Lagunas, one from La Cala and the last from Mijas Pueblo. The departure time will be 17:00 hours and the return time, 00:00 hours. Whoever wants to use this service, clarified the councillor, is welcome to do so. Those interested in attending by bus, which will also be free, must register before Friday 11th through the telephone number of the Mijas Village Tourist Office (952 589 034 from 9 to 18 hours) or the office in La Cala (951 063 785 from 9 to 14:30 hours).
