The promotion of the tourist offer of Mijas linked to the golf sector has focused part of the efforts of the Tourism delegation of the Town Hall during its presentation in the 40th edition of Fitur. To make known the virtues of the 12 golf courses distributed throughout the municipality, with the aim of turning Mijas into a reference in the world of sports tourism was the purpose of the promotional video that was presented on Thursday 23rd by the government team before tour operators, the media and assis-tants to the most important tourist showcase nationwide. “We want to place Mijas where it de-serves to be and for it to be the protagonist as regards options for leisure, enjoyment, and sensations for those who visit our municipality”, said the mayor, Josele González (PSOE). “Together with Marbella and Benahavís we have 70% of the golf courses in Malaga and, therefore, in this fair we wanted to promote a new and different brand through this promotional video”, added the mayor.
