Mijas - Hotel occupation levels reached 85% in July
Mijas increases the results in comparison to 2018 and also expects to exceed the fi gures recorded last year in August.
The month of July has ended with hotel occupation levels reaching 85.02%, a percentage slightly higher than last year, which was 82.84 percent, but it is an indication of the good health enjoyed by Mijas as regards tourism, becoming consolidated as a “preferred destination on the Costa del Sol”. This was announced on Wednesday the 14th, by the mayor of the municipality, Josele González (PSOE), and the councillor for Tourism, José Carlos Martín (C’s), who assessed the information collected by the Tourist Offi ce in Mijas Village.
