At the request of the business owners of Mijas Village, Málaga Street will be cut to traffic since July 17th and until August 31st, from seven in the afternoon to twelve midnight. Only horse carriages, donkey-taxis, and owners of garages on that street are authorised to come through during that time period. This measure is established to ensure better transit of residents and visitors through one of the busiest streets in the historic centre of Mijas and it is not the first time this is done, as it began to be implemented in the summer of 2014.
