Mijas - Mijas becomes the winter headquarters of several football teams of the Dutch first division
The facilities of Antonio Márquez municipal football field, in Mijas Pueblo, surrounded by pine trees, and with the tranquility necessary to carry out quality training, have been chosen by the responsible company to bring several international teams to the town. They´ve being the location for the training of teams from the first and second division of Central European football, especially Dutch teams such as Ajax and PSV among others from the women's league of the Netherlands. Since last Wednesday, with Westlandia and Quick Boys teams, the football field has seen its daily routine altered with the presence of these teams that make a winter break in their respective competitions. The good temperatures and the location and quality of the local field have made Mijas the winter barracks to train and prepare the return to the league. Dordrecht was also trained on Thursday, and today the Sport Club Silvolde is doing it, and also the women's Ajax. Mijas has been chosen. "They have treated us very well from Sports Dept., and facilities are very well and accessible on holidays like these, so pleased with Mijas" commented Jacco Van Der Woude, from the company Guest Incoming. And as a reward for this collaboration, first-class match, the women's Málaga CF, which this year has ascended to the Iberdrola League, with the great national teams, will carry out a training with match included before the PSV next Wednesday (9th January) at 8pm. Admission will be free and the show is guaranteed since both teams have international players of great level.
